Alex Laviola is the Founder of Cut and Measure, a boundary spanning creative group focused on the Post Production of Film, Episodic, Digital, and Broadcast content. His passion for bringing story to life is evident in his projects - ranging from independent films to installations, concert projections to immersive experiences. His projects can be seen in festivals such as South by Southwest and the Tribeca Film Festival, all over online, and in theaters and on TV worldwide.

Before starting Cut and Measure in 2016, Alex worked with Prime Focus New York, an industry leading post production and visual effects company credited for award winning work on films such as The Great Gatsby and Ghostbusters (2016).  At Prime Focus, Alex served as Director of Business Development / Senior Producer, managing the post production and distribution on such acclaimed films as Boyhood (IFC Films), Burroughs (The Criterion Collection), Madly (MTV), as well as the restoration of the HBO and Jim Jarmusch libraries.
